This image was inspired by Mary Cassatt's painting "Little Girl in Blue Armchair" (1878). The image of the painting above was obtained from the National Gallery of Art's website. The poses and the framing are generally replicated though the color of the chairs are different. The fabric of Cassatt's original armchairs is suggested in the background of my Photoshop image. I recreated the pattern using Illustrator.
