Photoshop Project: Girl in Armchair
This image was inspired by Mary Cassatt's painting "Little Girl in Blue Armchair" (1878). The image of the painting above was obtained from the National Gallery of Art's website. The poses and the framing are generally replicated though the color of the chairs are different. The fabric of Cassatt's original armchairs is suggested in the background of my Photoshop image. I recreated the pattern using Illustrator.

Birthday flower
I drew this flower for my sister as a birthday present. The flower is pencil outlined in marker, and the negative space is conte crayon. It now hangs proudly in her living room. :)

Steelpan player
This is a painting I did for a friend's birthday recently. There are a lot of edits I'd make to the guy if I could but alas! No time! Love the steel pans though!

Two Dancers... Two Interpretations
This is my interpretation of Degas' painting "Two Dancers" (1890). I imagined a story of two dancers, one the star, one the understudy. The understudy's contempt and envy is emphasized by the shadows and sickly green curtains.
Painting Interpretation
This is my interpretation of this Egon Schiele painting. I used geometric shapes of various sizes to create the image of the mysterious woman in red.
